Please read the following terms and conditions of the Jewel’s Ear service agreement in its entirety. You must be at least 18 years of age and agree to the following terms and conditions in order to use the services provided by Jewel’s Ear.

1. Jewel’s Ear is not a licensed counselor, psychologist, psychiatrist, or therapist, and does not intend to act as one.
2. Jewel’s Ear does not offer a counseling/therapy/coaching service or act in any way as a suicide prevention line. Any client that mentions suicidal thoughts to Jewel’s Ear will be urged to call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline number, for professional help. Jewel’s Ear will presume that the client calls the number given to them upon our request. Jewel’s Ear will not be held responsible for any calls to that number that the client does or does not make. 3. Jewel’s Ear does not provide mental, medical, marital, legal or financial advice, counseling or coaching. We are a listening service only. Jewel’s Ear will not be liable to anyone for any damages including, but not limited to, personal injury or wrongful deaths, loss of business profits, business interruption and relationship or health problems.
4. If at any time while on the phone you are rude, disrespectful, threatening, harassing, or overtly sexual, then Jewel’s Ear has the right to end the call, in which case you shall not be entitled to a refund. Jewel’s Ear also has the right to refuse service to any caller.
5. By scheduling a call you agree that Jewel’s Ear is a listening service and not a counseling/therapy/coaching, *advisory service or a suicide prevention life line and that Jewel’s Ear shall not be held responsible for any injury or damages suffered by the caller, or any other third party. By using Jewel’s Ear listening and friendship service, the caller agrees that he/she shall defend and hold harmless Jewel’s Ear from any legal action arising by the use of Jewel’s Ear listening and friendship service.
6. Jewel’s Ear is a confidential listening and friendship service which cares for the caller’s privacy. Please note that the phone calls between the caller and Jewel’s Ear will not be recorded without your permission. If the caller decides to share personal information to Jewel’s Ear it will not be shared with anyone else except in order to comply with an applicable law or court, if needed. Jewel’s Ear will ask a client to contact 911 if they discuss anything related to intentionally/unintentionally physically harming another person in the past, present or future.
7. Phone calls to Jewel’s Ear are $1.10 per minute and the first 3 minutes are FREE with promotion!
